We love having family come down to visit and spend time with us. The Johnstons came down for the first time, except Laura and Makai came down after Finlee was born, and we had lots of fun with them. We went to see indian ruins at Wukoki and Wapatki Nationals Monuments, swimming, hiking, eating out, movies and popcorn, etc. It was a ton of fun and I hope they enjoyed their time in Flagstaff!
We also took time to remember Mom, Jess, and Val on the one year anniversary. What a crazy feeling to have already made it a year without these amazing women. We were able to watch the funeral video with plenty of tears, look at pictures and make some yummy mom recipes. It was great to be together for this day.
Every time I read posts like these it makes me want to come visit Flagstaff. Just don't move for a long time and I'll get there . . . eventually. So glad that you guys are coming out to visit us though. We are super-dee-duper excited!
