Happy Birthday Marilyn

Spencer and I like to set up a little display for Marilyn and Jessica's birthdays to remember them. February 12 is her birthday. It was fun to be able to look at the pictures and remember how beautiful she was.
We miss her so much and since having Finlee, I feel like we have missed her so much more. She would have loved holding, kissing and snuggling with him. She loved babies. I hope she is staying close by so that she can see him growing and changing. And I always hope that Finlee met her before he came down here. We will do all we can to teach our children about Marilyn and her great life, but I hope since she passed away before Finlee was born and any of our unborn children, that they will have some special connection with her (and Jess) from their pre-mortal life.
There is so much to remember about Marilyn. Spencer has some great stories to tell and I hope he continues to tell them to others. It is hard to imagine life without and it seems so unreal that she isn't here. Luckily the gospel keeps us chugging along with a stronger hope of seeing her again.
We hope you had a wonderful birthday and we missing you so so much. Please stay close to our little family. We still need you!

2 months and growing

Sorry I started this post a while ago and just noticed it in my drafts. These were some of his 2 month pictures. He is growing so fast. Love this little boy.

Always taking pictures of our little Finlee

He is getting more and more smiley. We just have a hard time catching it on the camera because he gets to enthralled with the camera.

He loves sleeping like this when on our chest. I laid him on his tummy for pictures and he instantly fell asleep.

He is really loving his hands lately. He eats them a lot, not just when he is hungry.

He loves the swing, and most of the time we don't even turn the swing on. He really likes being able to see things, or us at the table. He is getting social. Finlee will even fuss now if we put the carseat cover over him so he can't see. Very curious eyes!

Finlee is a big stretcher. This is a very regular pose for this little guy.

His valentines attire for going out to eat with mom and dad.

Gilbert Temple Open House

Spencer, Finlee and I drove down to Gilbert to go to the temple open house and it was so wonderful. The weather was nice and we really enjoyed seeing the new temple. Finlee actually was awake the whole time we walked through. It was so cute seeing him look around at everything. Always makes me wonder what he is thinking or seeing.

Bryce Canyon in the Winter

On our way home from Utah we decided to check out Bryce Canyon and it was beautiful with all the snow. Enjoy the pictures!

Time with family in Utah

A few weekends ago we were able to go back home to Utah. We got to see a lot of family and had so much fun with them.
Finlee loved meeting everyone. He smiled and cooed for many and did pretty good for the drive up and back.
Playing reverse charades with the Jackmans. Hilarious!

The main reason we came up was for Grandma Webb's funeral. It is so wonderful to know that she is with her husband, daughter and many other family members. We will sure miss you.

The many faces of Finlee
