The master bedroom is now 90% completed and so I thought I would post some pictures. We worked on it a little bit at a time while doing other projects so it took a little while to actually get the finished product. I say 90% complete because we still want to paint the nightstands and re-stain a dresser to go on the left side of the bookcase. Take a look at the before and after pictures because I think it looks a ton better.

(The trim was really beat up wood and just needed to be painted. I found this cool trick for painting next to carpet on pinterest and it worked so well.)

One of the items left by previous owners. I didn't know what to do with it but then decided it would be nicer painted white and go in the master bedroom.

The curtains was one of the things I was most excited to put in the room. In our last house we just had the curtains the previous owners left. But this time, I was able to pick out ones I wanted. The curtains aren't much for blocking out the light but more to add to the room and window. I found them at World Market!!
We even painted the doors which wasn't very fun but they look so much better.
