Walnut Canyon is so close to us, and yet it has taken us a year to make it here since moving down to Flagstaff. It is a simple hike but really fun.
You hike down some stairs to get into the canyon then you hike around a little "island" in the middle of the canyon with lots of Indian ruins built into the cliff.
It goes like this all the way around the island.
Inside most of the rooms there is black on the walls or ceilings from the fires they had inside.
All these fun posts and cool places to see within a very close distance is making me want to move there. It sure seems like a beautiful place. Your lil guy is sure cute!!!

ReplyDeleteJed was picking out his clinicals for his last year of school, and I said we should go to Flagstaff! He said "what's there to do in Flagstaff?" and I told him there's tons of hiking, and Tiffany is there! All your blogging about the hikes you do there makes it seem like the most interesting place, haha. I'm glad you get out and see them all.
